I learned that the Immigrant's had to climb stairs. And if they had trouble walking up they didn't pass the test.If they had a disease they would have to go to the Ellis Island hospital. If they didn't need to go they would be sent back.

  2. Dear Mrs. Springston,
Ellis Island was a place where immagrants would be exemaened to see if the had a deseize or a sickness. If the passed they would go to New York. Not all of the immagrents docked in new York. Some immagents docked in other places.

  5. Dear Mrs.S,

I learned that if the immigrants were sick they would have to go to the hospital.

And some times their's not enough space on the boats so they woud have to wait for next boat.

And sometimes they would have to go up stairs if they had trouble they would not be able to go to Elis Iland.

And some people went to other places instead.

  6. Dear Ms. Springston,
What I read is that immigrants had to climb a lot of stairs. The immigrants had to take a little test to see if they had a disease or a sickness because if they did then they would not be able to stay at New York City. Some of the immigrants didn't go to New York, some people went to America, and some other places. The people that had a disease or a sickness had to get back on the boat and go back to where they were before they got onto the boat to go to New York.
    Sincerely,
    Bryonna
